We then lead you through the transition from exploratory mode to structured implementation following best practices for opportunity prioritization and innovation management.

As part of this process, PIM also manages the complex nagivation of Funders (Federal, Provincial, Academia, Private) motivated to invest in new business ventures and innovations. 

Innovation, like many business functions, is a management process requiring leadership, tools, systems and discipline. 

PIM understands that organizations cannot count on building a secure future in the belief that what has worked in the past will continue to work in a rapidly changing and increasingly uncertain world.

It is not as effective to rely on “innovation by accidental discovery or occasional inspiration” nor can you rely on annual strategic innovation sessions as a way to compete and differentiate successfully in your marketplace.   To succeed in the long term, it is necessary to move beyond an ad hoc or unstructured approach to innovation.
